Application information
Begin with the fiber type, bale dimensions and bale mass. State the compression condition in which the dimensions were measured and describe the release sequence. Include covering materials, strap positions, surface contact and any edge protection.
Add the internal handling method, storage arrangement and transport destination. Include photographs or drawings where they clarify a detail that is difficult to describe in words.
Strap requirements
List the dimensions and properties you need to discuss: width, thickness, weight per meter, breaking strength and elongation. If you already use a strap, identify its current specification and the reason you are reviewing it.
Avoid treating one property as a complete selection rule. Requirements should be reviewed together in the context of the load and equipment. Include the material documents and recycled-content information you need rather than assuming every PET grade has the same specification.
Equipment and supply format
Provide the tool or machine model, tensioning method and sealing process. Record the feed arrangement, accepted strap dimensions and any coil constraints stated in the equipment documentation.
Describe the required coil core, coil dimensions and packaging format. Add the information used to identify a roll or batch in your operation, along with any labeling or language requirements for the destination.
Review, quantity and timing
Set out sample quantities, checks or documents required before purchasing. State what will be reviewed on the actual line and who will confirm the result. These details help keep the next step specific.
Finally, include order quantity, destination and timeframe. You can use the checklist below as an enquiry outline and add the details relevant to your operation.
