Breaking load and elongation requirements
Define the required minimum breaking load and elongation with your packaging team. Ask for the proposed grade's specification, test conditions and supporting records. The family name does not establish a numerical strength rating or prove a comparison with steel or another material.
Load stability and handling conditions
Describe bundle or pallet dimensions, contact surfaces, edges, strap placement and handling conditions. Review the way the package is assembled, stored and moved when agreeing the strap and joint requirements.
Equipment integration and trials
Confirm the machine or tool model, accepted strap dimensions, surface and coil interface. Evaluate tensioning, joining and package behaviour through an application-specific sample trial, using agreed acceptance criteria before approving a change.
